Secretary Report for Sept. 6, 2005

Opening: The meeting was called to order by President Curt Stauffer. Minutes of the August 2, 2005 Board meeting were approved as written.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen—Committee chairs should start to think of a budget for 2006 for their expenses.

Membership: Rick Geiner—stated membership numbers from National as of August is 401.

Newsletter Report/Website: Don Hollway—check website for upcoming events.

Social: Ed Eisenhart, Al Peinhardt, and Jerry Trone—Crab Feast, Sunday, October 9, 2005.

Tech: Scott Hoaglund—absent - No Report

Autocross: Mark Bolt—A motion was made by Mark to purchase a line spreader to be used for Autocross events, not to exceed $85.00. The Board approved. Looking for a volunteer for this position for next year.

Swap Meet Steve Baun—absent - No Report.

Old business: President Stauffer read a note of thanks from the Heide family for the flowers sent for Daphne. Also mentioned that $1,067 was given to the Four Diamonds Fund in Hershey, proceeds from the Swap Meet donations.

Discussion on name badges—Don Hassenbein had a sample badge made and passed it around for review. It was decided to offer the badges to everyone at every event when they sign up. John Witmer motioned to charge $3.00 per badge per person and Curt seconded. The Board approved.
