Secretary Report for June 8, 2004

Opening: President Rausa called the meeting to order, welcomed everyone and introduced 2 new members attending—Larry Lambert and Jay Godfrey. Joe mentioned that Bill Hapke is in the Lancaster hospital for tests; he will keep us updated. A card will be sent from the Board.
The May 4, 2004 minutes were approved by Henry McQueen and seconded by Curt Stauffer.
They were approved as recorded.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen apologized for not having copies of the current figures, but if anyone wants a copy please e-mail him in the next few days and he will send it to them. He did mention that he paid HERCO for the Swap Meet $5,200 for the parking lot and misc. fees.

Membership: Curt Stauffer—376 members to date; hoping to reach 400 by year end.
A SOCIAL CHAIRMAN IS STILL NEEDED!!!

Tech: No Report

Driver’s Ed: Mark Bolt reported rain at Watkins Glen for the driver’s ed event, but didn’t seem to stop anyone from driving. Maybe considering having a Driver’s Ed and Autocross events on the same day. The June 27th event has been cancelled and a date for Sept. is being considered.

Swap Meet: Same location for the April 23, 2005 event. The Worker’s Party will be held at the Giant Center—date and details to be announced.

Vice President: Curt Stauffer—still inviting new members to attend Board meetings and events.

Golf Outing: Everything set up and ready. More details on website or call Jerry Reinhardt.

Other Business: Manny Alban gave a brief review on the status of the Germany Region of PCA. He has also been nominated for National Secretary of PCA and will be stepping down as our Zone Rep. If anyone is interested in the Zone Rep. position, please contact Manny at CarreraDos@aol.com for more information.
