Secretary Report for June 7, 2005

Opening: President Curt Stauffer called the meeting to order promptly at 7:00pm and welcomed everyone. There were many new members in attendance. Henry McQueen motioned to accept the May 3, 2005 minutes and Don Hollway seconded; motion carried.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen—Treasury good. Henry mentioned a need for new software at a cost of $150. Curt Stauffer motioned to buy and Joe Rausa seconded. The board approved.

Membership: Jerry Reinhardt—PCA National is getting numbers to Jerry for current membership for our region. WeÕre hoping to be near the 400+ mark. Club applications and business cards with all the info will be at the club tent at the Parade Swap Meet. Don Hollway will take care of having more business cards printed. The Board felt the cards are convenient to put on vehicles and advertise about the club.

Newsletter Report/Website: check newsletter and website for all upcoming events.

Social: Ed Eisenhart, Al Peinhardt, and Jerry Trone—no report

Tech: Scott Hoaglund—Check website for events.

Autocross: Mark Bolt—Great turnout - good weather - mostly Porsches, 42 cars. Looking forward to night driving on June 10th at the Giant Center.

Swap Meet: Steve Baun—Steve Baun told everyone about the plans for the Parade Swap Meet to be held on Sat., June 25, 2005 at Lot M at the Giant Center, Hershey. Only club volunteers will be working the gates, tent, etc. as they are familiar with how the event works. WeÕre hoping for good weather!!!

Other business: The Club has been asked to show their cars during the show which runs from Jan. 25 - 29, 2006 (Wed. - Sun.). A variety of styles, years, etc. would be needed, maybe as many as 30. And of course volunteers needed on a daily basis to guard the cars. If interested, please contact Steve for further information. ( I would suggest after the swap meet).....

Joe Rausa chairs this committee and mentioned that if anyone is interested in next yearÕs board, please contact him before the October 4, 2005 meeting.

Next meeting: July 5, 2005 at Liederkranz, 6:30pm for social, meeting at 7:00pm.
