Secretary Report for April 5, 2005

Opening: President Curt Stauffer called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. There were 5 new members attending as well as current club members in attendance. A motion to approve the March 1, 2005 minutes was made by Don Hollway and second by Michael Bailey. The Board approved.
Treasurer: Henry McQueen—Expenses good; monies coming in from Swap Meet vendors.
Membership: Jerry Reinhardt—no new numbers available.
Newsletter Report/Website: The CPA der Sprecher has been entered in the 2005 Parade Newsletter of the Year contest. WeÕll know results at the Hershey Parade in June.
Social: Ed Eisenhart, Al Peinhardt, and Jerry Trone—“Porsches at Pimlico”; Perry County Bridge Tour, coordinated by Jim Renner, will be held on Sat. Oct. 1, 2005 with a rain date of Sun., Oct. 2, 2005; Crab Feast, Sun. Oct. 9, 2005 at Liederkranz; and Holiday Party, Sat. Dec., 17, 2005 at Media Heights Country Club, Lancaster.
Tech: Scott Hoaglund—Good tech session.
Autocross: Mark Bolt—New classes are established; check the website for details. Our Zone Rep, Jim Becker, will be attending the Swap/Autocross event for a safety observers report.
Rallye Barb Taggart—“The Bridges of Lancaster County” rally was held with 10 cars participating on a windy, cloudy Sunday. Thanks Ken and Barb for all your hard work in coordinating.
Swap Meet: Steve Baun—Vendors still calling about registering for the event. Volunteers needed - call Curt, Jerry or Steve. T-shirt design finalized and orders being placed.
Volunteers from the Four Diamonds Fund will be at the gate accepting donations from the public upon entering the Swap Meet.
A brief Parade 2005 update was given by Steve Baun and Deb Conn. Most of the members attending the Board meeting are not interested in the Parade activities and feel the registration is totally unfair.
Next meeting: May 3, 2005 at Liederkranz, 6:30pm for social, meeting at 7:00pm.
