Secretary Report for March 1, 2005

Opening: President Curt Stauffer called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. Motion to approve the February 1, 2005 minutes by Scott Hoagland and seconded by Don Hollway. The Board approved.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen—Finances are good. Money is coming in from vendors for the Swap Meet.

Membership: Curt Stauffer reported in Jerry Reinhardt’s absence. To date, we have 399 members.

Newsletter Report/Website: Mentioned a $40.00 fee to pay the proof reader at NEFRA for our Sprecher, this totals $480 per year. After some discussion about the cost, John Witmer motioned to pay the fee and Tim Harney seconded, the Board approved.

Social: Ed Eisenhart, Al Peinhardt, and Jerry Trone—Discussion on location for Holiday Party; possibilities included West Shore CC, Media Heights CC, and the Antique Auto Museum in Hershey. The Board voted to hold the event on Sat., Dec. 17, 2005 at the Media Heights CC in Lancaster. Menu and all details to be worked out later.

Tech: Scott Hoaglund—Check the Sprecher for times of events.

Autocross: Mark Bolt—Absent, no report.

Rallye Barb Taggart—Hopes everyone is planning to attend the rally on Sunday April 3. We’re hoping for sunny weather and lots of Porsches!!

Swap Meet: Curt reported in Steve’s absence - Vendors registering for event. Steve is working on a T-shirt design. Volunteers still needed and are to contact Curt or Jerry if interested in helping.

Next meeting: April 5, 2005 at Liederkranz, 6:30pm for social, meeting at 7:00pm.
