Secretary Report for February 1, 2005

Opening: President Curt Stauffer called the meeting to order at 7:02pm and welcomed everyone. Henry McQueen moved to accept the January 2005 meeting minutes and Jerry Reinhardt seconded; the Board approved.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen—Club financially OK. Committee budgets the same as 2004.

Membership: Jerry Reinhardt —393 club members to date according to National office. Jerry is working on a letter and a membership package for new members.

Newsletter Report/Website: Don Hollway—Great Job !!!

Social: Ed Eisenhart, Al Peinhardt, and Jerry Trone—Working on plans for a holiday dinner location. Final decision to be made by the March board meeting. Discussion on the following:
Art Show - at Mark and Carol Bolt’s usually on a Friday evening - attendance low. Club cost $200.
Golf Tournament - Club will promote; maybe sponsor a hole or team; Club cost $250.
Porsches and Polo - event dependent on the weather. Contact Mark Bolt if interested in chairing.

Tech: Scott Hoaglund—March 19, 2005 - 9:00-Noon, Foster’s Automotive, Mechanicsburg

Autocross: Mark Bolt—check der Sprecher for dates, times of upcoming events.

Rallye Barb Taggart—is coordinating this event scheduled for Sunday, April 3, 2005 to be held rain or shine. 1-2 hour drive with dinner after. Henry McQueen motioned a $200 budget for prizes and Scott Hoaglund seconded; the board approved.

Swap Meet: Steve Baun—Vendors already registering for this event. Steve is working on a t-shirt design. Volunteers are to contact Curt or Jerry if interested in helping.

Next meeting: March 1, 2005 at Liederkranz, 6:30pm for social, meeting at 7:00pm.
