Secretary Report for October 4, 2005

Opening: The meeting was called to order by Treasurer Henry McQueen in the absence of both President Curt Stauffer and Vice President Steve Baun (that may be a first)!. Mike Bailey motioned and Don Hollway seconded to approve the minutes from the October 4, 2005 Board meeting. Board approved.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen—finances good - some bills still outstanding. Contact Henry if you would like a more detailed account.

Membership: Rick Geiner—absent - No Report

Newsletter Report/Website: Don Hollway—Holiday party dinner reservations are due to Al by Dec. 12, 2005.

Social: Ed Eisenhart, Al Peinhardt, and Jerry Trone—Crab Feast, Sunday, October 9, 2005. Volunteers needed for setup and cleanup.

Tech: Scott Hoaglund—looking for suggestions for 2006 events.

Autocross: Mark Bolt—Thanked everyone for their help with all the autocross events this year. Mark mentioned that the events were well attended and ran smoothly and hoped everyone learned something and had a good time.

Swap Meet Steve Baun—absent - No Report

Old business:The Board decided not to participate in the January 2006 car show held at the Harrisburg Farm Show building. Too many logistics to work out for a 3 day event.

May 6 and 7, 2006 - Hershey Hill Climb featuring “Porsches”. Henry mentioned contacting the organizers of this event about possibly placing our Club tent there for membership information, etc.

Next meeting: December 6, 2005 at Liederkranz, 6:30pm for social, meeting at 7:00pm.
