Secretary Report for October 5, 2004

Opening: President Rausa called the meeting to order promptly at 7:00pm; introductions were made. Quorum present. Minutes from the September 7, 2004 meeting were approved.

Treasurer: Henry McQueen—current balance $30.970 up $8,383 from 2003. Doesn’t include costs for the Crab Feast and a mailing for an Autocross event. Three sponsors for the der Sprecher have been dropped for lack of fees.

Membership: Curt Stauffer —hopes to have status of current membership numbers before the end of 2004 from National.

Newsletter Report/Website: Don Hollway—Everything going well.

Tech: Scott Hoaglund—Joe reported in Scott’s absence. Sat. Nov. 20th - Speaker at Autohaus, Lancaster; look in der Sprecher for details.

Autocross: Mark Bolt—Check the website for details for events. Joe Rausa and Henry McQueen reported they needed to update some equipment in the trailer (battery/generator/scanner) for a total cost of $168.00. Board approved.

Swap Meet: Steve Baun—no report

Vice President: Curt Stauffer —no report

Region of the Year : Club member Rob Rutz will be organizing the scrapbook for the club.

Other Business: Region of the Year—Club member Rob Rutz will be organizing the scrapbook for the club.
Nominations: Lois Kreins—Nominations for the 2005 Club year were presented. The voting ballot will be in the November der Sprecher and also on-line.
Art event: Carol Bolt —Nov. 13, 2004
Holiday Dinner: Dec. 17, 2004, West Shore Country Club. Details in der Sprecher. Patti Stauffer chairing.

Next meeting: Next meeting is November 2, 2004 at Leiderkranz, 6:30pm for social, meeting at 7:00pm.
