President’s Message
Time really does fly when you’re having fun or really busy in the shop. The old good news/bad good news problem does seem to run my life. And Don keeps reminding me of the due dates for this Steering Wheel article. (Thanks, Don.)
Our Crab & Shrimp Feast on the 29th of this month should once again be a “social lollapalooza.” The Liederkranz Club affords us a great place to just kick back with friends and family. As always, we encourage everyone to bring their Porsches for all of us to admire.
Also on the social agenda, our year-end annual Holiday Party (Dec 4th) again this year at the Heritage Hills Resort in York just of Route 83. Last year proved to be an excellent location, and we all recall the storm that forced us to turn the Holiday Party into the Valentines Day Party. Last year’s chairman, Jerry Trone did a great job pulling that all together.
On the business end of CPA-PCA, the Bylaw Review Committee will be meeting in the next week or so to do a review of our current bylaws. You may recall when we referenced them at the time of joining the Zone 2 as a participating region; there were several areas of various interpretations. Even the CPA attorney, David Novack, had concerns about how it read. We hope to iron out those discrepancies. Any proposed changes will be subject to a club vote.
Gotta run, tons of work in the shop, but on a very personal note I really must thank the board for their assistance and support. And also the members that support CPA-PCA. It’s our Club, get active.
TRAVEL SAFE
